“Contemporary Traditional” Art Exhibit
About: Lingnan style Chinese painting is one of the most influential art movements of the Chinese Modern Art period, and has been an important inspiration for contemporary Chinese art. In this Painting exhibition, we celebrate 8 Contemporary Traditional painters with both western and eastern background. Like brewing a good cup of tea, an art of controlling and mixing the elements – the artists in this art exhibition crafted their arts with both modernness and traditions. Each artist in this art exhibit and their art works reminds us of both the creativities in modern art and the profound beauty in traditional brush paintings. Traditions are not forgotten, but enhanced by our artists.
