Goodnight, Stargazer tells the story of Dawn and Luna, two astronauts who are returning to their space station after a mission in Deep Space. On their way back, their ship is hit by a meteor shower, severely damaging its oxygen generators. With their oxygen stores highly depleted, they realize they won’t be able to make it back… together. There’s only enough air for one of them to reach their destination.
As mission leader, Dawn is faced with an impossible decision: sacrifice herself for her partner’s survival or leave her behind and return home. But Luna, whose daughter is waiting for her back on Earth, is also considering their options. The growing tension between the two women progresses until, eventually, one of them bursts and leaps into action, initiating a chain of events that ultimately decides their fate.
