Surrender | Typographical Poster

Surrender | Typographical Poster
This project that began in late May was based around the idea of designing a typographical poster that would help make a literal narrative out of the word “surrender”, by the way of a visual style that combines minimalism and simplicity together.

As you will see, the final outcome consists of the word “surrender” being an entity that is partially hidden within the ground (posing as somewhat as a form of shelter), holding up a traditional white flag, with the inclusion of sweat droplets to help signify feelings of stress, fear and possibly relief.

Other minor details include a grain texture, as well as a selection of lighting gradients, that all-in-all help to create an even further level of depth from a design that I didn’t want to appear to flat or too basic for my own personal liking.

So, be sure to tell me what you think in the comment section below!
