Description
This body of work is the response to a walkabout in and around the central business district in the city of Port Elizabeth. The prints were an exercise in psychogeography - which is the geographical environment of a particular location, typically a city, considered with regard to its influence on the mind or on behaviour. I was inspired by the sights of landmarks and the different people I came across during the walk. The postcard- like watercolour monotypes aimed to capture a moment in the lives of those individuals.
