Nixon Watch Photorealism

I wanted to create my own watch that looked photorealistic. I did this by combining a watch face and a watch band from two different Nixon watches. My main goal when creating the watch was to make the watch actually look like the gold from the photo.

At first I was thinking I would use one Nixon watch, then after sketching that is when I decided to combine my two favorites. Through sketching I was able to get a feel for the shapes within the watch and all of the parts it was made up of.

After receiving feedback I was able to add gradients and shadows to make it actually look like metal. I was also added highlights and shadows to the text to make them look 3D as they would be on the actual watch.

In the end I was able to create what would be my dream watch. I did this by analyzing the images to get the perfect highlights and shadows. By applying those highlights and shadows, I was able to create a realistic looking watch.
