Project My Space revolves around a space with the dimensions 150cm x 200cm x 300cm.
This three dimensional area needed to be designed in such a way that one person would be able to sit, lie down, watch, write, read, think, draw and circulate within the construct.
During the course of this project, the students were encouraged to push the ergonomical principles to their limit in order to be able to create unconventional designs.
The restrictions imposed upon us by the conventions in respect of functionality were to be forsaken in favour of three-dimensionality.
Desired was that the final result of this project would be a visual poem.
