Magazine Cover Design
This cover illustration was created as an ode to Hanami - the tradition of celebrating the blooming of cherry blossoms in Japan. I wanted to create a reflection of a moment in a lighthearted day in the city, the usual urban landscape is illuminated with the beautiful pink blooms.
You will also see an editorial spread and spot illustrations I produced drawing inspiration from the style of the cover, this was to contribute to a short magazine I produced as part of my degree show to highlight some of the illustration work I had done throughout the year - which I used the Tokyoiter illustration as the cover for.
