Spectacles of Curiosity!
A looping, ad-like animation that advertises/introduces/describes the aesthetic, conceptual, and narrative characteristics and interests of a larger, dystopian, sci-fi world. The world is set in a familiar but accelerated future, and thus seeing pieces of it is like getting glimpses of the future through a crystal ball.

The 3 cycling symbols represent key players and events of the larger narrative.
The style is in reference to the style of illustrated ads often found in newspapers from the 90s.
A key aspect of the larger project (and thus this piece) is to create an experience of the uncanny, where something is strangely familiar but unusual, and cause almost a mental double-take. At first glance it may appear mundane, but unusual characteristics can be distinguished upon closer examination or thought.
