1950s Technology
This is an assortment of tech that was released in the 1950s. When creating the first illustration (the radio) I really wasn’t even thinking about making a series around 1950s technology. The reason I even made the radio is because I liked the simple and minimalist design. A friend saw the design and suggested that I should make a series out of the 1950 tech, so that’s what I did.
Process
I used the Rectangle Tool, Circle Tool and Pen Tool to create all the parts of the phone. The Rotate Tool was used to rotate the number spaces evenly around the center of the dial. To finish it off, I duplicated everything and cut off half using the Rectangle Tool to cover one half and clicked Minus Front in the Pathfinder tab.
