Whenever I paint, I like to incorporate mediums that move and feel alive such as resin, iridescent paint, and holographic paper.
When the painting was seen in its physical embodiment, the ever-so-slight shift in color from moving-mediums, like iridescent paint made it fascinating. Therefore, it was personally disheartening to see the dimensional and living aspect of my paintings disappear whenever they were scanned.
By using P5 Javascript and Adobe Illustrator to create vectors, I coded an interactive painting that "sparkles" and shift in form with mouse interaction.
