Naturalist Outreach: "Plant Defenses" (MusicSupervisor)

Plants are under attack by large and small animals. They can't run away, so what strategies do plants have to escape their predators? Plants use mechanical defenses like thorns, chemical defenses, and animal body guards to protect themselves. Beautifully illustrated and explained. This is one of the many Cornell University's Naturalist Outreach Videos videos that explore major ecological and biodiversity issues for students of all ages. Made in collaboration with Carol Jennings Ithaca College Park Production students and Linda Rayor's Naturalist Outreach Program, with funding from Cornell Cooperative Extension and NYS 4H.
