Pheromone of the Year:
This is an annual competition where thousands of pheromones fight to win the prestigious title. Beware this is not for the faint-nosed. The participants submit their pheromones which are then put on a public poll in the museum. The visitors smell the pheromones and cast their votes. At the end of a round, the strongest pheromones move forward to the next round. The pheromone which stands at the end of competition cycle is crowned the ‘Pheromone of the Year’. As a tribute, their pheromone is made into a perfume and body lotion and made available for sale at the museum gift shop.
