有人这样抱怨：“我往往是在机会离开时，才明白这是机会。”每张照片亦是如此 ，没有捕捉的瞬间终究是遗憾。每个摄影人都在寻求拍摄一张好照片的时间，光线，影子甚至只是一瞬间。从清晨到日暮，手持相机的人在捕捉独特的每一帧画面，捕捉就是一种意识上的占有。拍摄就是占有被拍摄的东西。它意味着把你自己置身于与世界的某种关系中，这是一种让人觉得像知识，因而也像权利的关系。
上海，魔性的大都会，不是海明威笔下巴黎那样流动的盛宴。上海就是上海，仅此而已。

Bresson said that your first 10,000 photographs are your worst. I do not agree when I heard of it. Now, I do believe but the number should be 100,000. If it makes you laugh, if it makes you cry, if it rips out your heart, that's a good picture.
Where Movement meets Movements

偶然的机会，参与了清晨“城市舞者”的拍摄。做成项目是因为照片所记录的完全符合这座城市的灵性。
上海是”流动的盛宴”，当然不是海明威笔下百年前的巴黎。
这里是上海，仅此而已。
每个人都在这座城市舞动｡
有的是激情，有的是态度。
照片把过去变成可消费的物件，因而是一条捷径。
任何照片集都是一次超现实主义蒙太奇的演练和超现实主义对过去的简略。
讨论影像不啻是讨论世界，拍摄照片也等同与拍摄世界。
其实我们无力拍摄世界，只是希望所拍摄的能够成为这个复杂世界终究会消失的一段残片。
对于我，记录是对上海最好的致敬。
