Exploring UI Design for a Boarding Pass Application

This design is only a portion of the application UI and it is a Work in Progress

The design was inspired by Samsung’s One UI and the lack of good quality applications available on Android.

Step one was designing the Boarding Pass Tiles shown in the application home screen. Once the user taps on the Boarding Pass Tile, the boarding pass will open and the barcode can be scanned upon boarding.

The Boarding Pass Tile shows all the imporant information at a glance, including a Dynamic Flight Status Message Window. This can show important messages such as flight updates, flight count downs, gate numbers and more.
