Sal! Kit was developed for the Sal! brand as a limited-edition gift box that contained non-perishable food locally created in Puerto Rico along with the new restaurant guide.

 

Launched in Christmas 2010, we designed and produced the custom box at a local packaging company and sourced the various goodies. Coordinating with the small businesses, we sourced honey by renowed master beekeper Modesto Matias, tea from Sana growers, vinagrettes by Chaly, amazing coffee by the wonderful Hacienda San Pedro http://www.cafehsp.com/ and a CD featuring Afro Caribbean bomba and plena by Viento de Agua http://www.vientodeagua.com/index.html. The kit was a tribute to food and culture in our island and looked to promote to buy local.
