Northwestern State Misc. Projects
Northwestern State University (NSU) is Louisiana’s oldest continually occupied site of higher education (founded in 1884 as 'Louisiana State Normal School').
OVERVIEW — NSU produces all marketing and publication efforts exclusively in-house, utilizing staff members throughout the production process. In the fall of 2018, I began working as a graphic designer for the university, collaborating with multiple departments across campus to produce high level concepts for a wide variety of print publications.
THE CHALLENGE — Concept and design collateral while also maintaining and staying within the budget allowed per project. To accomplish this, I worked closely with our on-campus print shop to procure quotes and estimates for each job.
MY ROLE — Graphic Design, Print Production (Pre-flight), Publication Design
THE SOLUTION — Through my work with the Office of Publications, I was tasked with executing projects for both external and internal communications dealing with printed collateral. Much of the work included projects such as promotional posters for the school of music as well as expansive print campaigns for university recruiting efforts–and much more in-between.
