In 1954, Gomringer in his report “From Line to Constellation”, considered to be his own manifesto for Concrete Poetry, writes that “languages are now on the path of their morphological simplification. The content of an entire proposal is condensed into one word. Headlines, slogans, new sound groups and letters become forms that could become models for a new kind of poetry. The aim of the new poetry should be to give the poem a new organic function in society once again and thereby redefine its position “.
