The Monster Project 2019

The Monster Project
Summer 2019

Elementary students draw monsters. Then artists from all over the world reimagine those monsters in their own unique styles.
The Monster Project teaches children about the power of their imaginations and encourages them to pursue their creative potential. It shows them that their ideas are important and exposes them to the magic of art and collaboration. Plus, it's just really, really fun.
This time, we’ve partnered with Austin, Texas Parks and Recreation Summer Programs and talented artists from around the world to bring you over 130 glorious monsters!
This year i have been invited to partecipate to The Monster Project 2019 and it has been a great pleasure and honour to redesign a kid's monster.
At first my attention has been captured by Royacelll's drawing due to the crumpled paper as also i felt that he had some insecurities.
So i reimagined his monster and placed some of this crumbled paper into my illustration, combining the idea of having many little monsters inside the huge one!
