It all started innocently enough with a crayon here, a pencil there, some lines on paper and ... wait. That starting point is really way back!
I'm a big fan of drawing tools, hardware and software. Now that Adobe Fresco is available to me on Windows 10, I am going to explore and experiment some ideas.
I like the option of working with Vector AND Bitmap on the same app. I also like the fact that Fresco now runs on Windows 10 and I can use it on my Surface Pro 5.
As you can see, I am hardware agnostic (until a licensing/marketing agreements comes along, hey Apple. what's up Microsoft?!) and will work on any device I have access to.
I already tried Adobe Fresco on the iPad Pro (Fresco started for me as #ProjectGemini https://www.behance.net/gallery/81950031/Project-Gemini-vs-Adobe-Fresco
and I worked on a poster in Adobe Draw as Project Gemini still had stability issues/not ready for prime time! https://www.behance.net/gallery/81703073/New-Vegan-Burger)
I am now ready to experiment some vector work on the Surface.
Looking at a brand new drawing app on my Surface!
First Drawing: A Selfie.
The selfie on the left (Smirk) did not export as a vector. I will figure it out but I assume its because there were layers with pencil marks (bitmap).
The selfie on the right (goggles) did export as a complete vector!
What I am excited about is using the vector brushes present in Adobe Draw now on Adobe Fresco on my Surface.
Seems like little wins, but in the workflow of a professional artist, some little things like these add up!

Ok, back to experiments. I am excited!
So far I like Adobe Fresco on the Surface. There are some bugs that are still in progress but overall its pretty stable and I have not lost any work.
I export frequently through my progress to check that the Vector parts are in fact vector once exported to Adobe Illustrator.
