The Satin Dog Days of a Boring Man

              A visual journal.
A quiet, dusty, corner of the mind of a boring man, crammed full with the snippets of passing thoughts.

Some will spend their lives searching for a purpose, some will create one for themselves, and still others believe it never existed in the first place and go through the motions of Life in apathy and existential dread.

The days pass by, and one wonders where the Time went. Yesterday is barely more than a foggy recollection, as is the day before that, and the day before that.

I can't remember if I even want to remember, or if it really matters. And then in the end, one thinks, "What does it even matter?"

Vye, a young Bramblewine Shol of the now defunct Bræmbel Ring.
Vye comes from the story, The Briar Patch

A character that's simple in the sense that for him, there is no purpose. No reason for 'what' or 'why'. Nature can be cruel, and indifferent, and oftentimes things happen and there's not a reason why. So why search for what doesn't exist? What's the purpose of searching for purpose? It seems a rather airy pursuit in the face of the future coming.

When the Harvest Moon rose and the Fairy Rings were razed to the ground, he knew no amount of tears would change that. And so the Lowland Shol now makes to traverse the world, seeking out what kith and kin remains in the hopes to one day bring back the Verdance and raise the Prismatic Arc. To flourish and burgeon as they once had.

But the world is a dangerous place, and it'll take more than sheer cunning to survive. Still, that doesn't stop him from trying. Maybe he'll stand a better chance with help--safety in numbers and all that jazz, afterall.

If he could only find someone who would be willing to help him... preferably someone who wont eat him.
