NOMI PADDLE TO FIJI EVENT PROMOTION
This assignment project is the continuation of 'NOMI Laver Snack Packaging' which can be seen in my other Behance project. After creating the product packaging, one of the ways to promote the product is through event promotion.
Through interview, indicator study, and target audience study, one of the most effective way to promote NOMI to youngsters and young-adult (18-25 years old) is through mobile game. Mobile game is considered easy, fun, stress-relieving, can be played anywhere and can be competitive among the target audience. Therefore, this event game purpose is to reach the highest score in 'NOMI Padde To Fiji' game. But, to obtain the 'heart' to play the game, player must collect special barcode inside the NOMI Laver Snack Packaging or collect the coins in the game to buy more 'heart'. The detailed terms and conditions can be seen below.
The Game Concept
The game itself is adapting from sea turtle migration to Fiji as sea turtles are seaweed eater, therefore can be used to promote NOMI Laver Snack as seaweed snack. In the game, player who plays as the turtle has to eat jellyfish, fish, and seaweed, and to keep going, they have to keep away from the sharks, fishing net, rocks, and others sea turtles' cause of death.
The name 'Paddle To Fiji' is chosen because 'paddle' resembles how sea turtles move and Fiji is chosen for it's sea turtle island and as the grand prize trip for the winners.
After creating the concept, sketching the logos, and digital sketch, the final logo can be seen below.
The sea turtle as the game character is used as the 'D' at paddle and complimented with other underwater elements such as bubbles, fish, crab, coral, starfish, and seaweed.
Final Game Visual and Special Barcode
Special barcode can be found inside the 'NOMI Laver Snack' packaging which can be scanned inside the game to gain eggs to play more.
