Coffee & Style
This project was done in collaboration of my school and "Stylist" magazine; Coffee was the theme of the month's issue and they wanted a poster featuring the students interpetation for "coffee and style".
I chose 'roots' as a unifying idea for coffee and style; The beautiful ethiopian women represents not just the coffee's origin country but also something primal yet graceful, as a women.
For the composition I chose to pull the viewer from the figure's gaze to the coffee cup through the poster's header (translates to 'good taste from the roots'). For colors I used a warm palette and faded tones to create a friendly and relaxed mood.
