iOS APP FOR DAVIDSON COLLEGE ITS DEPARTMENT
Goal: create a magazine style app for Davidson College Information Technology Department's Annual Report.
Challenge: design the annual report in an interactive magazine-style format while keeping in mind the end user's demographics and range of skill levels. The app needed to visually showcase projects while easily allowing the end-user to transition to the next page.
My role: research, design, photo-editing, infographic design, and writing.
Results: Research concluded there was a need for two apps, iOS and Android, and a printed version. The client decided they only wanted the iOS and print version, for various reasons, and I was able to successfully convince them that an alternate platform was needed and an agreed-upon interactive pdf was added to the mix. I designed the annual report using Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Acrobat. The client was extremely pleased with the overall layout, design, and flow of the app and the feedback from the end user's was very positive.
