The Great American Firetruck Bar is a themed mobile cocktail bar that can be hired for events and functions. It's a 1950’s Pirsch firetruck that has been lovingly restored and customised, so it seemed fitting for the logo to be based around the vehicle.

The bespoke illustration is evocative of 1950's americana style and is paired with the Magneto font which is similar to the original Chevrolet script which is iconic for that period in time. I quickly realised that Magneto wouldn't be a suitable font for general communication purposes so I chose Roboto as the main brand font as it's a clean san-serif. For headlines I developed the use of an overprint style which gives more character.
