The "Corvic Cull" refers to the era marked by the Happy Company's declaration of war against the human race in 2100, followed by the systematic and institutional oppression of people across the States, and a societal struggle to maintain our position in the world's socio-biological ecosystem.

Process:
I began with a zoomed sketch of the mechanical leader of the Happy Company about to consume a human skull.
During the illustration process, I realized that the action of crunching down on rather than swallowing humanity fit the theme and concept better.
