Meet George, the newest member of my family. I adopted him last Thursday from SPCA of Wake County. He is 6 months old and a Labrador Retriever/Pointer mix. He had a rough start and is on the up and up from a bad infection, which is thought to be meningitis. George started out very weak, probably dehydrated and hungry, but he is now showing signs of a thriving puppy. I have caught him chewing my socks, jeans, camera bag and paper towels. He loves his new big little puppy brother, Max, our 2 year old Chihuahua. Max is warming up to George and will even share his bed with George. 

This post is to display examples of how cropping can be used to tell a more interesting story of a subject, in this case, George. The original is on the left and cropped photo on the right. The story I think I was able to capture is how happy George is to be in his forever home.
