Grits are a stamp series that portrays the great female writers from the South. The four women chosen
portray not only the strength of a woman but of a southern woman. Selections from each author’s most
famous works as well as personalized drawings denoting symbols from both their books and lives
accompany the stamps in a bound keepsake.
