Chain Links Baroquend

Working with simple patterns that we enounter everyday this textiles piece is made to envoke thought and stimulate reevulation about common day surroundings.  The chain link fence pattern was first used in middle class American suburbs but gradually it went out of style. Now they are seen in lower middle class communities. I placed this pattern in a luxurious contents to see how it plays with the ideas of social classes and it's seperation.
