Inktober 2019 sketches
Inktober is an annual challenge that's basically about drawing every day for a month. Originally, the point is to draw with inks on paper, but the challenge has evolved over the years. I don't really have a good work station for pen and paper drawing, so I decided to spin the challenge a bit and do it digitally. The word prompts are from the official Inktober 2019 word prompt list.

Inktober / day 10 / prompt: pattern
Ever since I first saw Stanley Kubrick's vision of Stephen King's classic The Shining, I've been obsessed with the art direction in that movie. Especially the pattern in the corridor where Danny rides his tricycle and encounters the twins. I thought combining that pattern with the hedge maze from the climax of the story could be an effective visual twist.
