Biophilic design - Naturalistic

PROJECT OUTLINE I BIOPHILIC DESIGN

Biophilia in definition means “the love or life of living systems” and it focuses on the ideology that humans possess an innate tendency to seek connection with nature and other forms of life. Biophilic design is an extension of this theory and idealises the introduction of natural forms into working environments.
The brief for this project was to design a biophilic interior of an existing residential structure and bring human closer to nature by incorporating it into the design.

CONCLUSION I NATURALISTIC

A pleasant breeze ruffles through the leaves. The fresh smell of nature hovers in the air and a wave of happiness flows over you. Open your eyes and experience the joy of nature in your own home.
The concept of Biophilia is applied in this design, bringing nature from the outside, inside. The focus of this concept was to bring as many plants and greenery into the home, without overcrowding it, while being sure to push the “Happy Nature Buttons” when walking into the home.
