It's 2019; nostalgia is everything. Back in 1972, travel was still a novel and luxurious experience. In communist bloc countries, international travel was reserved for cultural attachés (athletes, politicians and performers) showcasing the best of communism to the outside world. The introduction of the Ilyushin 62 (featured in the animation) was imperative to the culmination of prestigious international routes (New York, Chicago and Montreal) that could now be flown non-stop.

Referenced inspiration include famous posters illustrated by Janusz Grabiański—1966, 1971, 1972, Borowicz-Żmijewska—1979, antique neon signs—currently at display at Warsaw's Neon Muzeum and A.Sundukov "The Queue".
