Inspired by Singapore’s Racial Harmony Day, I wanted to create a product to celebrate everyone’s differences!
My brief was to enhance the idea of a harmoniously unified world by using a fun and indirect way to educate on the outcomes from a lack of acceptance. The packaging was modelled after a food packaging, using its dynamic layout and light-hearted tone to address a serious issue. My target audiences are young adults, as such I wanted to keep my brand distinctive from organisations that address world issues in a solemn manner.
I achieved to spread my brand identity across the product, packaging, brand book, as well as poster to advocate the cause of my project. Promotional items such as tote bags and T-shirts were also proposed to allow the message to be conveyed to a wider audience.
