Folding Illustration Exercise
This was a craft activity experimenting with folding illustration.

We needed to fold the page before starting the illustration, then illustrate an image for the 'front' of the page, and another illustration for the 'inside' of the page. Both illustrations need to interact with each other and the 'inside' drawing needs to relate to the 'outside' one.

For this we started with an A4 page, folded. Once that was completed we were tasked with making the illustrations into a business card size, to create a folding illustrative business card.
Different variations and stages of creating the folding illustrations.
This was an interesting and somewhat challenging task, but I enjoyed it.
It was my first exposure to folding illustrations, and I think its a great technique that can be implemented into other artworks or projects.

It was challenging to make sure that both the 'outside' and the 'inside' illustrations integrate with each other and form a full picture. It was also rather difficult to down-size the drawing to turn the original A4 illustration into a folding illustrated business card.

I enjoyed this project and will consider refining it for portfolio purposes.
