Objective: Create multiple works of Alternating Figure/Ground by making 3 black and white pieces, one large piece in color, and one mockup of the colored piece. My patterns are made using a specific part of some pliers. Process and inspiration can be found in my dropmark.
Unit Square: This is the 50/50 black and white square head used to make all my patterns. The figure itself is the head of some pliers.
Figure/Foreground: First black and white pattern I made using rotation.
Finished Product: 3 black and white patterns on a black background.
