Contour line drawing is a drawing exercise, where one draws the contour of a subject without picking up the pen, looking at the paper 10% of the time and the object 90% of the time. This exercise trains the eye and the hand to work as a team, and it helps to see all the details of the object. For this project, we had to draw contour line drawing of bottles, hands, and faces, while also keeping in mind the composition of the drawing. We also had to add tonal qualities to the drawing by hatching and by adding ink washes.
