Way back in 2017, when I moved into an apartment of my own for the first time- I took up this long standing wishlist project to make a DIY coffee table for myself. I used 4 wooden crates, and used nails and glue to put them together in a way that it served as a coffee table and bookshelf. 

At that time, I only painted it's surface white and it looked beautiful. Just yesterday, I was sitting at home on a Saturday, with not much to do since the weather outside is colder than I can take - and I thought of giving the table top a makeover! I used acrylic colors to paint on the table and used a pastel palette to give it a fresh look. I hope to enjoy the sight of such a colorful table during the gloomy midwest winter months that are upon us.
