ACCESSORIES FALL WINTER 2008
Maken Imcha's Scarf Collection is composed of one-of-a-kind individual pieces. Her collection was made with the concept of reviving "High-Sewing" - a trade that is being lost in a world of expanded commercialism.
Each scarf goes through a process of detailed design workshop - the yarn is carefully hand-picked, matched with its supporting fabric and then hand woven and embroidered.
“The total design process – conceptualizing, sketching, designing, choosing the yarn, fabrics and finally knitting takes about two weeks. But at the end of the day, all the hard work is definitely worth it. I am able to provide my clients with a beautiful, exclusive piece of artwork.”
