The following videos were developed for the University of Southern California for their Trojans Care for Trojans program. In the wake of a drug overdose on campus, USC developed an online anonymous tip form where students could request help for friends who may be abusing drugs and alcohol. PeakCare was retained to create a video series that promoted and marketed the anonymous tip form. Each video, directed at the friends of drug and alcohol users, was designed to catch the students’ attention and then provided the necessary instruction to access the site. In addition each video was inserted into a customized flash player that was branded to match the university and provided hyper-links that linked directly to the form.
I have always been intrigued by the horror genre. When I sat down to write my mini horror film to convince non-drug and alcohol abusers to assist friends who did, the concept of "save your friend’s life today, he may save your life tomorrow," was stuck in my head. The above video is how my mind took that thought and ran with it.
