The Arid Woods of Taylor Creek, South Lake Tahoe
This location is also a salmon spawning location.  When I visited in November, hundreds of rotting fish attracted the attention of local omnivores such as ducks, gulls, and bears.  The lovely sights complimented the abhorrent smell.
