Embody Water a team comprised of Dawoon Jeung and Nikki Lee, who developed the idea of Embody Water to act as a means of promoting a water conscious lifestyle through the combination of design and fashion.

When starting Embody Water the process was divided into three phases: The Idea/ Process Phase, Evolution Phase, and The Fruits of Our Labor. Initially Embody Water did not start off as a means of promoting a water conscious lifestyle, but was intended to be an Eco-friendly clothing line. We wanted to create a Eco-friendly and sustainable fashion line that makes people not only look their best, but to also make them aware of their water footprint.

During the evolution phase, the goal for the logo design was to visualize the idea of water and its fluidity. To portray the idea of fluidity through fashion, we decided to use light, organic fabrics such as organic silk, chiffon and hemp that will be used as scarfs and bags. In order to spread the idea of a water conscious lifestyle, we designed a website which allows people to easily access information about what Embody Water is, and the information needed to make the change.

The last phase The Fruits of Our Labor, organic silk and chiffon were used for the scarfs that were hand dyed. The scarfs were dyed with vegetable dye, which we used to screen-print our logo and info-graphics. The hemp fabric was also used to create tote bags, which featured our screen-printed manifesto.
