THE FACADE PROJECT
This is a facade of the Philharmonic restaurant in Cardiff made at 1:50 metric scale from white card and mount board.
This was my submission for a task - to walk around Cardiff city center, photograph buildings with an interesting front (facade) and pick and reproduce a facade that we felt would challenge us creatively.
I chose the Philharmonic because the building has stood against the passage of time and its facade shows its history.
And much like the actual building, my facade model also seems to have seen some wear and tear! 😅
