Challenge
The challenge started from a local Pasta Bar which wanted to enter the FMCG market. The main focus of the business was to be close to consumers and to offer them the best experience possible. The "pesto jar", as we used to refer to the project, was the first product to be released on this new market.  

Design & stick to the brief
Pasta La Vista is a young brand, sort of playful, but at the same time serious. Their products are tasty and people love them for their simplicity and dedication. The visual concept of the jar needed to align to their values. It was challenging to integrate the round logo and to make it part of the whole label and develop the feeling of casual, simple playfulness. Still the final product needed to inspire quality, artisanal, freshness and so on. Finally, the packaging managed to encapsulate the brief and the aesthetics required for a sellable "pesto jar".
