GRAM After Dark: Quiet Clubbing

The goal of this project was to conceptualize a design system that would appropriately represent a dance party at the Grand Rapids Art Museum. The idea of music and movement applied to visual typographic elements is a representation of the event. In collaboration with the GRAMs in-house designer, Brian Hedrick, I created a series of warped scans which takes a structured form of typography and transforms it into words that look as if they are moving and dancing. The project crystallized in the form of social media advertisements, web pages, and print designs.
