For this assignment we were instructed to make a poster for a gig. I decided to do a poster for one of my favorite bands- Mandolin Orange. I chose this because I felt that their name had a lot of potential as far as illustrating something to go along with it. I wanted to use vintage colors to reflect the mood of their music. I made the body of the mandolin an orange and stuck with that as the main component of the design, then illustrated the concert venue, using the same colors as the mandolin so it would be cohesive.
