The brief given was to design a patchwork quilt, inspired by Rallis, taking inspiration from one of the joys of your life. I chose to depict the joy and mystery of sleep. 

Working one on one with the artisans who create beautiful Rallis in their daily lives, 

I got to understand an important principle of reusability and reduction of wastage. 

Using chindi fabric procured from here and there, I completed this full sized quilt in a week’s time.
