"Snoop" is a hypothetical title for a biography of Snoop Dogg's current and past career. The cover is meant to have nostalgic hints of his roots in hip hop with the reference to the dog he used to represent himself in classic music videos. For composition, I went with a formal portraiture style to keep the historic and honored feel. While I wanted the cover to represent Snoop as an important influence in hip hop and his roots as a gangster, I also wanted to emphasize the humorous and light hearted vibe of Snoop Dogg today.
