The highway to heaven project is a non commercial artwork which contains 8 different images found on the internet free to download. The entire work is done in GIMP and trys to show what is possible with the enormous strong layer system in this programm.
In Picture-I you see the final result in which all layers are activated and postioned in the right place.
Picture-II should be a demonstration and a example at the same time for the 27 layers that create the final image.
