In one afternoon, I went on a journey to try and feel in touch with nature while still in Baltimore. This project is just as much about the walk itself as it is about the book pictured which documents it. The book walks the reader through the small, normally unnoticeable details I found and aims to inspire others to take steps to feel more connected to where they live.

Representing the words said to me that stuck while living at home by sorting them by the positives and negatives. Sewing them into this doll was a reflective experience which resulted in this object which hold great emotional power for me. Through this, I discovered how much heavier the negative comments hung on me compared to those that were positive.
