Folding Architecture: Row Home

FOLDING ARCHITECTURE
A single sheet of 12” x 36” corrugated cardboard is cut and scored to create a two-story row home. The flat sheet of cardboard is transformed into three-dimensional space without the use of any adhesive and without adding or removing any pieces. In the final phase of the project, mullions are added to complete the form. The finished product is a unique form that maximizes natural light and exterior views.
