The concert venue Faktorý was a true hotbed for the Icelandic music scene – hosting over one thousand live music events in only three years, until it had to make way for the new hotel, (one of very few in Reykjavík 101). Faktorý was the birthplace and second home to superstars like Of Monsters and Men, Ásgeir Trausti, Retro Steffson, Hjálmar, Agent Fresco and many more. The venue Faktorý was voted ´Best Newcomer bar 2011' and 'Best All Around bar 2012', by Grapevine magazine. 
Beside being one of the owners and the manager of the Faktorý, I was responsible for branding and all design for both print and online marketing. The Faktorý logo was designed by my siamese twin brother Arnar Ingi Viðarsson.

Peeing at the Faktorý is now super-duper fun. I plastered the walls with pictures of old speakers and changed the names of some of the speakers and associated it with the place. Over the pissing bowls, I put a huge mixer and on each button had the names of the musicians and Dj´s who played regularly at the club.
